यदि मन्यसे सुवेदेति दभ्रमेवापि नूनम्. त्वं वेत्त्थ ब्रह्मणो रूपं यदस्यं त्वं यदस्य देवेष्वथ नु मीमांस्यमेव, ते मन्ये विदितम्.
'If you think "I know it well", then u know very little of Brahman! What u know of Brahman among the Gods is also very little. Therefore, the nature of Brahman,is still to be ascertained by thee.' On listening
to this, from the Guru, the disciple thought more deeply with in himself, and realized IT; then he came back to the Guru and said, " Now I think, IT has become known to me".
The Kena Upanishad, suggests here that, before deciding the Realization of the Brahman, one has to ascertain whether he had detached himself from the predicaments and attractions that he had been in.The Guru should also check up that whether the disciple has really detected the Brahman, and that the disciple has not mistaken the identity of Brahman for the much brightened Ego!
