यच्चक्षुषा न पश्यति,  येन चक्षूंषि पश्यति; तदेव ब्रह्म त्वं विद्धि, नेदं यदिदमुपासते. What none can see with the eyes , but by which one sees the function of eyes, know, THAT alone as the Brahman, and not this the mortals worship.

Similarly, what none can hear by the ears, but by which the hearing is perceived, know, that alone is the Brahman, and not what is worshiped here. Here, the point is that, our senses, fully conversed with the visible world,  are not ready to accept anything beyond the reach of the level of human perception .

We need a picture, shaligrama or a deepashikha🔥of an oil lamp, to agree with the existence of the essence of all  the senses (=Brahman). In order to overcome this deficiency or limitation, the auto suggestive"brahmaarpanam astu" , has been made compulsory at the end of every Puja or Yajna, and  to make our inner self to get trained to accept the existence of the niraakara BRAHMAN.
